FMCC Webinar: Wax on Wax Off: Balancing Innovation and Operations in the United Arab Emirates FM Market Date: 4th Thursday, January 22, 2014
Time: 1:00 PM Eastern

Presenter:

Ryan Darnell – Executive Director-Facilities Management – Khidmah LLC – DUBAI, UAE Overview:  The presentation is designed to offer an insight into the fast-paced and dynamic FM market in the United Arab Emirates. Using local experiences to demonstrate that a ‘cut and paste’ mentality of western FM models can work for some aspects of operational delivery, however a locally adapted strategy is required. The balance of operations vs. continually innovating is a challenge on it’s own but when you add the challenges of multi-lingual workforces operating complex facilities in a harsh environment, the challenge just got a whole lot harder!

Learning Objectives:

1. Identifying the market conditions in which you are operating FM Services
2. Analysing where differentiation’s can be achieved from your competition (internal and external)
3. Setting strategies that optimise innovation while ensuring stability of operations in a developing market
4. Implementing a tailored strategic plan that matches the market and is easily communicated
