We are stronger together:FMCC President’s message

Thursday, December 4th, 2025

Every month, I’m reminded of a simple truth: our work as consultants in facilities management often demands blended skill sets, cross-disciplinary thinking, and the confidence to assemble teams that are broader, sharper, and more adaptive than anything our clients could build internally. This is precisely where the FMCC community proves its value.

We are a global network of professionals who share not only a common discipline but a common mindset. We believe FM consulting is at its best when it transcends technical expertise and brings forward integrated thinking about operating models, organizational behavior, technology, risk, finance, sustainability, and human systems. None of us holds all that knowledge alone. But together, we do.

Over the past year, I’ve watched members quietly form virtual teams to deliver solutions none of them could have delivered on their own. Some partnered to pursue international opportunities. Others combined niche specializations to solve targeted problems. A few used the council to expand their visibility and build relationships that led to new clients.

These are not side stories. They are the early indicators of what FMCC can become: a professional community that helps you extend your capacity, deepen your capability, and pursue work you would never have considered on your own.

If you haven’t already, please reach out to fellow members. Share what you’re working on. Ask who’s tackling similar problems. Look for complementary strengths. Treat FMCC as your peer network, your virtual bench, and your professional amplifier.

In 2025, our focus as a council is simple: make FMCC the place where consultants go to learn from one another, build higher-value solutions, and win more impactful work.

We are stronger together than we are individually. And when we combine our expertise, our clients notice.

I look forward to seeing what we create next.
