“Supply Chain Management as Procurement Shifts to FM”

Proficient, agile, supply chain management is essential to FM in maximizing the triple bottom line. FMs operate in a dynamic and complicated mix of sources for materials, equipment, and services. This podcast offers a glimpse at the tuning the procurement process to match the product or service sought in order to ensure best value. The last ten years have shifted procurement processes more onto FM. What will the decade ahead bring, especially in how FMs acquire technology? Tim Schmidt joins us just after the conclusion of his FMCC webinar, Supplier Management and Procurement Strategies for Facility Managers.
