In Memory of Mike Liddle

IFMA’s FM Consultants Council is saddened to share the news of the unexpected passing of Mike Liddle, our UK based Regional Director for Africa.

Mike was a longstanding IFMA member, CFM and had previously served as President of IFMA UK and IFMA Europe. As a leading independent Real Estate and Facility Management consultant operating across the EMEA region, his experience included the control and co-ordination of multiple major projects and large scale outsource programmes for a range of significant global organizations.

Mike was a champion for FM, an advocate for Africa and a voice of reason topics as varied as corporate strategy, project implementation, IT, environmental issues and the capacity for FM to make a real difference. He was also active with the Maidenhead United Reform Church and their Aid for Ukraine project.

His professionalism, enthusiasm and camaraderie will be greatly missed by his many friends IFMA and the other organizations where he contributed.

Our condolences to his family, Mike is survived by his wife, Maggie, their twin sons Richard and David, and daughter Sarah, and their seven (7) grandchildren.
