Overview:
The Nigerian market is huge with new Real Estate and Infrastructural development coming up rapidly. With population almost hitting the 200 million mark (aside those in diaspora), many more are expected to fill the deficit.

This heavy capital outlay equally calls for a match in FM content to both protect and enhance the value of the investments.

With new innovation coming into the market daily and investors requiring that their investment be preserved, FM practitioners must rise to the occasion by providing services that will make a difference in the market place.

The purpose of this presentation is:

New FM markets are emerging and Nigeria is one,
The Nigerian population is huge and growing with inadequate Real estate and infrastructure.
There are currently many multi-million dollar projects on ground in Nigeria and still counting.
Facility Management is growing rapidly and more is required to protect and enhance these investments.
There is need for all FM stakeholders (service providers, companies and manufacturers) not to ignore this market and make a positive impact right away.

Presenter(s) Biography:

Stephen Ola Jagun, FNIVS, CFM, FRICS, IFMA Fellow, Principal Partner, Jagun Associates, Nigeria

He is the managing partner of Jagun Associates. He is an Estate Management graduate with a Master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Lagos, Lagos and has over two decades of post graduation experience in practise.

He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV); Registered by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON); Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM); a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) based in America, Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) of United Kingdom, and first African Fellow of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).

He is a Past President of the Nigerian Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).

He an IFMA International Qualified Instructor and an international conference speaker. Awarded the 2015 IFMA International’s Distinguished Member/Professional of the Year Award.
