April 7, 2015                                                         ANNOUNCEMENT

The FMCC Board of Directors announces the appointment of Chris Payne as Social Media Coordinator within the FM Consultants Council. Assuming the position within the Strategic and Tactical Action Group (STAG), Chris will build upon the strong social media strategy initiated by the group to continue to promote network support and service engagement through multiple online channels.

As principal/CEO of CSS Consultancy, Chris is based in Glasgow, Scotland. He travels extensively to support an international facilities management client base and has successfully embraced social and digital media to communicate with a geographically dispersed audience.

Social media provides the FM Consultants Council with an effective way to engage with members to capture and share ideas and industry knowledge. The development and application of the social media strategy will help us to improve communications and ensure the members remain engaged with the Council and that the benefits from focused representation are shared as widely as possible. This supports other initiatives charted by the FMCC Board to increase the value and benefits to the membership.

Over the weeks ahead, FMCC members should start to see more communications through social media channels, offering industry knowledge as well as requesting them for their input to reinforce the FMCC’s online presence.

With Chris’s support, we are pleased to be focusing more of our attention on social media and we hope that you will join us in welcoming him to the FM Leadership Team!

Best Regards,

John Ringness,
