Markus Groll, a registered architect, has been in the commercial design profession since 1988. As the founder and manager of companies in Germany, Jordan and the UAE, he has acquired a wealth of experience in architecture, construction and facilities management over the past 25+ years specializing in project planning and management in accordance with industry specific best practice standards.

Working with major clients in a consultancy capacity, he has provided advice and expertise on all aspects of building construction and maintenance. Due to his IT affinity Markus has been also working with clients and companies to lead the implementation and configuration of CAD, BIM, CAFM, IWMS, IMMS and CMMS software applications.

In 1999, he has established the IFMA Regional Chapter “Inn-Salzach” with the primary focus on informing about IFMA and facilities management best practice whilst securing new members for the IFMA. Markus was also the co-author of the German IFMA Planning & Project Management course and has been teaching that course for IFMA since 1998.

Markus has been active in FMCC as
– STAG chair at the FMCC STAG 2013 – 2015
– FMCC Board Member as Secretary: July 2014 – June 2015
– FMCC Board Member as 1st Vice President: from July 2015 onwards

Markus Groll is a founding partner in the multi-disciplinary Global Facility Management Alliance. This consortium of FM consultants facilitates broader strategic support for larger clients and projects of greater complexity.

He is also a Co-founder of CIC Community, a platform to provide consultancy services on document control & collaboration.

Olumide Aina, MSc, MBIFM
Managing Director at Green Facilities Limited

Olumide Aina MSc, MBIFM, PEM is the Managing Director at Green Facilities Limited and a member of the Strategic and Tactical Action Group (STAG) of Facilities Management Consultancy Council (FMCC). He holds a degree BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree (MSc) in Facilities Management, a Masters in Project Management from University of Roehampton, UK and currently in the pursuit of a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D) in Building with focus on Sustainable Facilities Management in public buildings.

He writes passionately about Facilities Management as a tool for business excellence on his blog at www.facilitiesideas.blogspot.com and also host a Radio programme (FM Talk360, www.fmtalk360.com) on Nigerian Info 95.1 FM (Abuja) where he educates people on Facilities Management. Olumide is a trained and certified Quality Management System (QMS) Lead auditor in ISO 9001:2008, a Safety Professional with NEBOSH certificates in General safety and International Fire Safety. He is also a National Expert on Energy Management having been trained by Deutsche Gesellschaft Für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) a consultant with the Nigeria Energy Support Programme (NESP) with the implementation of the ISO 50001:2015 Energy Management Standard in the Industrial sector. He has held various Facilities Management, Project Management and Consultancy project positions in a number of organisations including Alphamead Facilities and Management Services Ltd, Ora Egbunike & Associates, Total Facilities Management Limited and Filmo Group.

Olumides’ vast experience also spans across strategic and sustainable facilities management solutions, project management, energy management, team development, machine design, property investment & analysis, real estate and project risk appraisal.

Bill Conley, CFM, SFP,LEED AP, IFMA Fellow

Bill Conley is Facility Manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation in Cypress, CA. Conley has more than 40 years of experience in the facility management profession and has been a proponent of sustainable operations for over 25 years.
Conley received his Certified Facility Manager (CFM) designation from IFMA in 1992 and achieved LEED professional accreditation through the US Green Building Council in 2002. He has served on the IFMA Board of Directors and is a past president of both the Facility Management Consultants Council and the Orange County Chapter of IFMA.

He was an original member of IFMA’s Sustainability Committee, was an integral part of the development of the Sustainability Facility Professional Credential and authored three “How-To’ Sustainability guides. He currently serves on the Knowledge Strategy Committee, focusing on the voice of the customer.
