Overview:
For the World FM Day 2016 opening session, Teena Shouse will lead a panel including FMCC STAG Chair Gay Tuttle to look ahead to 16 presentations from around the World.
What is in store? What themes and practices now emerge as foremost in the minds of FM and organizational leaders? Which should you attend? (Maybe all of them, but you will need to recover the next day.)

Presenter(s) Biography:
Teena Shouse, CFM, IFMA Fellow
Teena Shouse is President of FM Transitions, her newly formed consulting entity since leaving FEA where she was the VP of Client Services for almost 8 years. She has over 29 years of experience in service related fields, predominately in Facility Management.
Her primary expertise includes; project management, business process improvement, sustainability in FM, staff development, outsourced contract governance including contract transitions consulting, and operations and maintenance. Teena creates and teaches Facility Management courses for IFMA and is a guest speaker at numerous North America and International conferences and universities.
From 2005-2007, she served as the Chairman of the IFMA Board of Directors. From October 2010 to January 2013 she held the position of Chair of the Global FM Board of Directors, a global federation of FM organizations based in Australia. This has enabled her to influence the facility management profession on a global basis.

Gay Tuttle, CFM, FMCC STAG Chair & Independent Contractor at Samson Resources Company
Work Experience:
Ms. Tuttle has performed in a wide variety of Facility Management roles within the office environment; from support roles to leadership in the Oil and Gas sector, Financial Services, and in Mixed Use commercial real estate. Move management and project experience includes a year long corporate headquarters buildout and relocation of 250 employees into 140,000 sq feet, and a 7 branch expansion of a regional credit union over 2 years in 2 states. As an independent contractor in the oil and gas sector, Gay led the relocation efforts of a multiphase remodel/restack in 2 states for 600 employees encompassing over 350,000 sq feet.
Professional Certification: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) IFMA 2000
As a member of International Facility Management Association since 1991, Gay has been active in several chapters and councils; Chapter Secretary of Kansas City IFMA (1992), the Banking institutions and Financial Council, the Houston IFMA Chapter, the Corporate Headquarters council, and currently the Tulsa IFMA Chapter and Facility Management Consultants Council.

It is a pleasure to note so many veterans and senior members are heading to highlight the FM day.Undoudtedly major concern of FM industry will be discussed and will hope various options will be delivered to crack those issues.FM business has been full of challenges and with improvement of deep understanding on FM by the clients things are getting tougher. Being a cost Centre FM professionals need to understand the services more elaborately and take the challenges to extend the best services , knowledge without hiking the cost.
Would request veterans to write more on sustainability and educate client to volunteer to bear the cost for better, improved services that support environment and sustainability.
