Dancing with Change in FM–webcast w/Maureen Sullivan
Facility Managers are constantly involved in ‘going to market’ for supplies, services and design & construction. Maureen talks about the value of teamwork in changing times, establishing relationships, flexibility and trust. She offers excellent advice in how to approach procurement challenges driven by organizational, geographic and environmental complexities. She also touches on the need to recognize and plan for risk management as part of procurement and the importance of relationships.
After a successful legal career, Maureen has been deeply immersed in the world of procurement for over 20 years. She assumed ownership of National Education Consulting Inc in 2009 and embarked on transitioning its award- winning procurement training programs to the online environment. As owner, curriculum developer and lead instructor, Maureen has worked with over 100 public and quasi-public organizations to design custom training solutions.
A sought- after speaker at supply chain and procurement conferences and events, she has delivered over 10,000 hours of training and was named to the Top 100 Women in Supply Chain in Canada in 2019.
She is the author of A Guide to Practical Procurement and, since divesting her interest in NECI (now The Procurement School), she consults as Fairness Monitor and Process Advisor to organizations committed to transparency in procurement.
