Presenter(s):

Overview:

Sustainability efforts are now a core element of an FM’s responsibility. Whether you’re engaged in an organization that has pressures to report measuring sustainability efforts or an executive leadership group that is looking for ways to maximize dollars, embedding efficient sustainable practices into your daily operations can be a challenging, often daunting process. The goal of this session is to shed light on how to implement practical sustainable measurements and standards, including how to communicate and adhere to external pressures. Using case studies, we will explore how two vastly different enterprises approach sustainability and their efforts to integrate sustainability into their standard operations, processes and protocols – from data and dashboards to request for proposals, standard performance measures, implementing and championing initiatives.

Learning Objectives:

1. Gain practical tips for implementing sustainable metrics into your daily FM operations.
2. Learn how to utilize O&M data to develop baseline measures and create decision tools such as dashboards.
3. Learn how to integrate sustainable measures into communications and documentation for your service providers and partners.
4. Learn how to turn your data into actionable knowledge.
