Commissioning from a Facilities Managers View

Operators and users of buildings often complain about the imperfections and ill-conceivedness of their design and implementation. The solution is the participation of the representative of the facility manager from the beginning of the preparatory phase of the design and implementation of the facility. There are two terms “Commissioning” (US and Australia) and “Soft Landing” (UK). In our webinar, we will listen to representatives of countries with very different historical experiences. What is their situation and how do they approach this issue in their locality.

This webinar conference in Eastern and Central Europe convened by FMCC member Ondrej Strup. Nine guests from Central and Eastern Europe, Brazil, and Canada presented on the state of commissioning in their respective nations and the repercussions for transition from construction or renovation to O&M.
