CEE webinar – Level of use of ICT systems in FM area in CEE countries

December 14, 2020FMCC Regional Director for Europe and IFMA Fellow Ondrej Strup, in association with the IFMA IT Community, presented a webinar especially for Central and Eastern Europe on the state of implementation of ICT tools in FM. IFMA fellow. Approximately 42 speakers and guests attended the three hour program.

After introductions of IFMA, FMCC, and ITC by Lara Paemen, David Reynolds and Ted Ritter, Klaus Homann’s of EuroFM reported results of a current survey probing awareness of ICT support for FM worldwide.

 

 

The brief survey is still running ( https://es.surveymonkey.com/r/FMgoesDIGI.) Completion takes 5 minutes. Milan Bogar followed with the basics of how ICT resources are used in FM.

Attention shifted to seven individual countries. Milan Hampl discussed the Czech Republic, followed by Macej Wisnewski (Poland), Vita Luisa (Baltic Countries), Vitalii V. Opanasiuk (Ukraine), Milan Bogar (Slovakia), Ádám Korbuly (Hungary), Catalin TANASESCU (Romania), and Levent Alatli (Turkey).

The event concluded with open discussion of BIM in practice and the relationships between CAFM systems and BIM.  Attention went to deployment and quality of CAFM systems and the improvement of usability of the BIM environment for FM processes. Fred Kloet pointed out the relevance of ISO 41000.

The next event of this series, focused on the Green Deal, will take place on Monday, February 22, 2021 between 3 – 6 p.m. CET (2 – 5 p.m. GMT and 8 – 11 a.m. CDT) and will be a collaboration with Jos Duchamps (President of IFMA EU AB) and IFMA EU.
