Global Liaison:
Val Moraes, IFMA Fellow, CFM, MBA, Assoc RICS, Past President IFMA FMCC
Val Moraes, is the Founder CEO and Managing Director of GregMore Group, a Facilities Management Company specialized in FM Consultancy, Project Management and FM Operations, based in Auckland, New Zealand. His past experience includes senior Facilities Management roles with Super Deluxe Hotels (Oberoi Group), High Rise Commercial Buildings (Colliers International) and Supermarkets (Progressive/Woolworths Australia) besides large Corporates. He is also the first New Zealander to be accredited as a Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) by International Facilities Management Association, USA (IFMA) and is accredited Assoc RICS from Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the first New Zealander as IFMA Fellow. He is one of the Founding Fathers/Foundation Board Members and Past Chair of Facilities Management Association of New Zealand (FMANZ) besides being the Past President of IFMA FM Consultants Council (FMCC) and currently as Strategic Advisor for the IFMA Business (BIZ) Community. Val is also an Accredited Professional for Green Star rating of Buildings in New Zealand (GSNZAP).

Mike Liddle, CFM
Mike runs Business & Facilities an independent Real Estate and Facility Management consultancy operating in EMEA. His experience includes the control and co-ordination of multi-million Pound projects involving all aspects of FM, Real Estate, Design and Construction. After managing the merger of Merck Sharpe & Dohme and Schering-Plough in 17 countries he has specialised in large scale outsource programmes on an EMEA basis for companies such as, AstraZeneca, Microsoft, Imation, Telefonica, Oracle, Kings College London and is currently working and advising on a major leading edge Free Zone Technology Village Flagship building in Abuja Nigeria. He served as President of IFMA UK, President of European IFMA and is a past President of IFMA’s global Facility Management Consultants Council.

Stephen Ballesty FRICS, FAIQS, IFMA Fellow, CFM, CQS, ICECA
Stephen is an award-winning local and international industry leader and acknowledged subject matter expert, with multiple accreditations, publications and presentations to his credit. His consulting firm, In-Touch Advisory, connects stakeholders with solutions for the Built Environment across the property–construction–facilities life cycle.
Stephen is currently an Australian delegate for the ISO international FM standards initiative (ISO 41000 since 2012), serves on the Chair’s Advisory Group (CAG), and is the ISO/TC-267’s global liaison to ISO/TC-251 (ISO 55000 asset management since 2015).
Stephen is a former member of the IFMA Board of Directors and Past Chair of the IFMA Research Committee; the IFMA Foundation; and FMA Australia. In 2011 he was inducted as FMA Australia’s 9th Life Member (fellow), received IFMA’s 2014 International Distinguished Member Award and in 2018 became the first recipient in the Oceania region of an IFMA Fellowship.
Continuing his work with the ISO/TC267’s Sustainable Development Goals Task Group (SDGTG) in 2020, Stephen is now the project lead on the development of ISO/TR 41019 to examine the alignment of ISO 41000 series FM standards with the UN’s SDGs and the implications for FM worldwide.

Ricardo Crepaldi, MSc
Ricardo is educated in chemistry and has more than 29 years of professional experience. For 23 years, he has been involved in industry, always in facilities and environmental areas, working with companies including Boehringer Ingelheim (Pharmaceutical), AB-InBev (Beverage) and General Motors (Automotive). He is a ISO 14000 auditor and has a Specialization Degree in Environmental Eng’g., as well enhancement in Controller and Business Administration. With more than 6 years in the academic area, he recently finished his Master’s Degree in Science and Environmental Technology, based on nanotechnology as the first step of a personal project of Post Ph.D. level. Nowadays Ricardo works in academic research and teaching. He is also is a senior freelance consultant for companies in contract management, environmental management, facilities operations, continuous improvement, cash conservation, crisis management, problem solving, and sustainability. He is an active member in many associations in Brazil and the US for facilities, environmental, and academic areas. His principal tasks are as an Advisor for ABRAFAC (Brazilian Facilities Association), Vice President of GRUPAS (Facilities Manager’s Group) and a President of a Chapter of ABES (Brazilian Environmental Association).

Mario Qian
Mario has 15+ years of experience in facility management, corporate real estate, project management, asset management and consulting in China and Asia Pacific region. He worked as the head of real estate & facility management in Fortune 500 companies such as IBM, Intel and was a regional leader of service providers such as Johnson Controls, Cushman & Wakefield and etc. The total assets under his management amounted to 20 billion US dollars. Mario previously was the co-Founder and First President of IFMA Shanghai Chapter.

Ondrej Strup, IFMA Fellow
Ondrej graduated as a steel construction designer (15 years experience), then CAD (leader of computer center of designing company, vendor of CAD, EDM and CAFM – Nemetschek AG)
- 1999 established Czech Chapter of International Facility Management Association, first President, at present Past President of IFMA CZ.
- External teacher of Facility management at Czech Technical University (CVUT FSv), The University of Economics, Prague (VSE), lector of Facility management etc.

Regional Director-Middle East:
Jawad AlTamimi CFM, ESG, CEM, VMA
While Jawad is a distinguished built environment professional and a subject matter expert in facility management, he lives and works in Dubai, UAE. He has over 12 years of experience in operating built environment projects that cover more than 3.4 KM2 of built-up area, and varying from retail, shopping malls, residential to commercial spaces and mixed-use developments. His expertise and passion are focused on creating substainable and livable communities through integration of all built environment sectors. Jawad is a sustainability passionate, and his primary focus is on integrating technology to achieve sustainability in the built environment where he has contributed in offsetting 60,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions, the equivalent of planting one million tree seedlings or driving 13,000 cars for a year. Besides his roles as a regional director of IFMA FMCC, Jawad is an active member of professional organizations like IFMA, SAVE International, ISSP, AEE, and CAIME, and has contributed with numerous publication and presentations in industry events as an industry thought leader. his dedication to mentoring FM professionals across the region and the glove has made a significant impact on the career development of those professionals where he normally interacts with industry professionals through his LinkedIn account.
Regional Director-North America:
Immediate Past President: David Reynolds, CFM, FMP
David lives in Mississippi, in the U.S. He is a founding partner in the FM consultancy Global Facility Management Alliance and an independent FM consultant. He has a lifelong interest in how people experience the built environment and how the built environment hosts organizations and advances their purposes. His principal FM interests are in organizational problem solving for continuous improvement. He is an advocate of technology as an FM resource.
He holds degrees in science, engineering, and allied health areas and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. His pro bono work concerns safe and healthy housing, workplace safety, environmental health, and key process design and measurement.
David joined IFMA in 2003, became an FMP in 2005, and CFM in 2014. In addition to FMCC, he is active in support of programs of the OMHS Community of Practice and in the Pipeline group engaged with the Facilithon (U.S.) competition for students of the trades who are interested in FM. He enjoys rehabilitating boats and houses and keeping a kitchen garden. He has a new grandson, a promising FM whose Mom and Dad just built a new home in New Orleans, hands-on from start to finish.
