Collins Osayamwen, MBIFM (GLOBAL LIAISON – Africa)


Collins Osayamwen MBIFM, is an Estate Surveyor & Valuer and a facility management consultant with over 15 years experience in the facility management profession. He is the Managing Partner / Senior Consultant of SheltercareFM Consult based in Nigeria. He is also a founding partner of the Corporate FM Alliance – a group of international companies working together on a regular basis to provide FM and Real Estate services on a pan European basis.

Collins is stickler for excellence; he is championing the course to institutionalise the FM industry in Nigeria. He served in the strategic planning committee of the proposed IFMA Abuja Chapter. He is actively involved in organising and hosting seminars / workshops aimed at promoting knowledge, best practise and development of the Facilities Management industry in Nigeria and the Africa continent. Collins is a specialist in CAFM software solutions and implementation for clients and FM service providers.


Val Moraes CFM, MBA (GLOBAL LIAISON – South Asia Pacific)


Val Moraes CFM is the Managing Director of GregMore Group, a Facilities Management Consultancy based in Auckland, New Zealand.
He has more than 25 years of Facilities Management experience in various countries including India, Australia and New Zealand. His past experience includes senior FM roles with Super deluxe Hotels (Oberoi Group), High Rise Commercial Buildings (Colliers International) and Supermarkets (Progressive/Woolworths Australia) besides large Corporates.

He holds a Graduate Certificate in Building Management (GCBM) and a certificate in Project Management from Victoria University, Wellington.

He is also the first New Zealander to be accepted as a Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) from International Facilities Management Association, (IFMA).

Besides being one of the Founding Fathers and Foundation Board Member of Facilities Management Association of New Zealand (FMANZ), he is also the Immediate Past Chair and currently sits on the FMANZ Board besides representing the association at Global FM.

Val is an Accredited Professional for Green Star rating of Buildings in New Zealand (GSNZAP).


Francisco Abrantes (GLOBAL LIAISON – BRAZIL & LATIN AMERICA)


Education and Affiliations

MBA with a concentration in Financial Management from University of Dallas/IPEP Brazil, post degree in People Management and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

He was the President of GRUPAS – São Paulo Administration Benchmark Group in 2008. He is ABRAFAC – Brazilian Facility Management Association founder and its Financial Director (2005-2006), Vice Chairman (2007-2008), Chairman (2009-2010), Senior Board Chairman (2011-2013). Currently he is member of the ABRAFAC Senior Board.

He was also nominated to be member of IFMA BOD during 2011-2013 and currently member of Corporate Facility Council (CFC).

He is FAMU – Florida Agricultural Mechanical University Counselor in the Facility Management Graduation Program.

Current Responsibilities

As an Executive Director of Powertron Global Inc he oversees Brazilian operation, responsible for introducing nanotechnologies solutions to increase building energy efficiency focus on the HVAC equipment.

He has been also working in the consultancy sector, sharing his 25+ experience in the Supply Chain, Logistics, Administrative, Real Estate, Property&Facility Management areas in companies’ workshops, training, due diligence and so on.

He  has over 25 years of comprehensive experience in  the Pharmaceutical Industry, Health Care, IT Company, Oil&Gas, Mining, Call Center, Broadcast Company (TV and Radio complex), Financial including  Facility and Property Management, Real Estate, Supply Chain, HSSE and Construction areas.


Atanu Guha Thakurta MCR MRICS CBIFM (GLOBAL LIAISON – India)

Atanu Guha Thakurta is employed with CBRE as the Regional Account Director – Asia Pacific Region handling the Deutsche Bank account spanning 15 countries. He operates between Singapore & India.

He is an innovative business leader and ex-Military Pilot with the Indian Armed Forces with 26 years expertise in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate & Aviation / Aerospace Management. People focused leader with extensive experience working with multi-cultural workforce covering countries in Asia Pacific, South Asia, Middle East, Canada & USA. He has successfully managed several global outsourcing and transition activities along with large scale projects. He has managed large Global Accounts across multiple countries & regions. Experienced in formation /restructure /development of FM teams, FM consultancy and developing strategic client relationships.

He is passionate about partnering in solving social & environmental challenges at scale, holds a diploma in Environmental Law and have authored several publications for the Centre for Environmental Law, WWF-India & School of Law, IGNOU. (Introduction to Environmental Disasters / Oil Spills & Gas Leaks / Marine Pollution / Industrial Accidents / The Plight of Olive Ridley Turtles)

He is also a Certified Corporate Trainer and conducts Leadership & Team Building workshops through the medium of Theatre (Transformational Learning). At present he is pursuing his Ph.D.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the IFMA Chapter in Mumbai, India.
